STUDENT & PARENT INFORMATION
Tuition and Fees: The fee for instruction is $295.00. Full tuition must be paid prior to the start of class or before the final behind-the wheel session. The program includes a classroom session and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instructions. Payments are accepted in the form of cash, personal check, money order, and electronic payments. All checks and money orders should be made payable to Hands-On Driver Training.
Classroom Session: $50.00
Behind the Wheel Sessions: $245.00-The training vehicle has automatic transmission with dual brakes and mirror.
Refunds: After completion of the classroom session, students are only eligible for a refund for the remaining behind-the wheel driving sessions only.
Third Party Testing: Hands-On Driver Training is a certified Third Party Tester for SCDMV. The fee for third party testing is $15.00, in addition to any applicable DMV fees. Participants of the Hands-On Driver Training program are not guaranteed to receive a driver’s license and may be selected at random by SCDMV to be retested at the time of application for a driver’s license.
